Goals
|
|
The chief aim of the Department is to fulfill the needs of modern enterprises by revealing students a broad spectrum through independent thinking, enhancing practical technology to integrate technical/ informational resources, and satisfying the curriculum while bolstering learners’ professional talents.

Faculty
|
|
There are 11 professors, 13 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, and 3 instructors in our department. The faculty continues to enhance academic research and executes to cooperate with practical industries. Their research interests include global logistic management, supply chain management, E-manufacturing management, quality assurance and control, human factor, marketing and financial management etc.

Facilities
|
|
All the equipments in our labs are continued to be enhanced, and some of them are integrated labs. We have established 11 labs including Manufacturing Process, Facility Design, Production Management, Management Simulation, Commerce Automation, Manufacturing Integration, Quality Management/Ergonomics, Motion and Time Studies, E-Manufacturing Management, Computer Lab, and Manufacturing Business Integration.

Curriculum Design
|
|
Two major programs are provided for undergraduates: Management of Logistics and Supply Chain, and Manufacturing automation and Management System. The students are trained with the knowledge of manufacturing automation, E-business, quality assurance, and will be capable of production system and E-business planning.

Research Projects
|
|
The faculties in our department take active parts in both teaching research. There are grants from national science council, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Economics each year.
